Landscaping in Rockledge

Home base, right on US-1.

Our office sits at Rockledge Gardens on US-1, about 4 minutes from Rockledge City Hall.

That drive is two miles: north on US-1, then west on Barton Boulevard.

Rockledge was founded in 1887 and is the oldest incorporated municipality in Brevard County.

The typical home here was built around 1990, and about 73% of homes are detached houses.

Along the Indian River, Rockledge Drive winds under century-old oaks and past historic homes.

We have built here: a River Ridge front yard with topiary standards and dark mulch beds.

We design and install across the city, from Barton Avenue and Valencia Road to Madison Grove.

Local conditions

What Rockledge yards ask for.

Rockledge yards come with old trees, a city fertilizer rule and posted watering days.

  • Old oaks come first

The city requires a permit to remove a tree, so we design beds around the oaks you have.

  • Summer fertilizer blackout

Rockledge bans nitrogen and phosphorus on turf from June 1 through September 30.

  • Watering days by address

The city posts watering days by house number and allows no watering from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

  • Zone 10a winters

ZIP 32955 sits in USDA zone 10a, so we pick palms that can take a night near 30 degrees.

Yes. The city requires a permit and a layout of your yard showing every tree.

Not from June 1 through September 30 if it contains nitrogen or phosphorus.
